The Friends of Kinsbourne Green Common is a newly formed charity in need of a new trustee. Could this be you?
We are a small charity of just five trustees, all of us volunteers. Between us we manage and develop the biodiversity of the Common, 35 acres of land north of Harpenden.
We're at an exciting stage for the charity. Having purchased the land in February 2024, we're now moving into the development phase. Over the summer we had both an ecology report, and tree survey undertaken and are now working with the Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust to start writing a five year management and development plan for the land.
We need trustees with a range of skills and interests. It could be ecology, communication with the local community, legal know-how or something else that you could bring to our board. Mostly we're after a few hours of your energy, time and enthusiasm each month.
If you're eager to get involved, we would love to hear more about you! Please send us a brief biography explaining why you're interested and how you can help. You can email it to friends@kinsbournegreencommon.org.uk. If you'd like to have a informal chat beforehand, feel free to drop us an email at the same address and one of the trustees will get back to you.
Deadline: Saturday 16th November 2024
We hope to hear from you very soon!
